Update on Fundraising Campaign for Medical Supplies #2
Dear CCFS members and fundraising supporters,
We would like to sincerely thank all of you for your contribution to the fundraising campaign. Further to our previous update dated February 15, 2020, we are happy to announce that we have arranged our first shipment of medical supplies to the Bethune International Peace Hospital. This would not be possible without your participation and the kind assistance of our campaign taskforce.
As a next step, we continue to raise funds for the City of Anqing in response to the multiple requests for help we have received. This stage of the fundraising campaign will continue until February 22, 2020. We rely on your continuing support to provide as much help as possible. On behalf of CCFS, our President Ms. Amelia Choi has penned letters to the Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (BPAFFC) and other CCFS partner organizations in China. We extend our concern, support, encouragement, and warm wishes to all the people in China impacted by the outbreak of COVID-19. Several organizations have expressed their gratitude and utmost appreciation to the care, support, encouragement, and precious friendship extended by the CCFS members. In particular, we have heard from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), the BPAFFC, the Hebei Province People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (HPPAFFC), the Bethune Spirit Research Association, and the Bethune International Peace Hospital. We have attached the thank-you letter from the BPAFFC for your information.
